[/su_spoiler] [su_spoiler title=”Are there other costs associated with pre and post op services?” open=”no” style=”default” icon=”plus” anchor=”” anchor_in_url=”no” class=””]No. NWES will not charge additional costs for pre- and post-op when evaluating your vision to determine if you are a good SMILE candidate, perform pre-surgery eye tests and when sharing the results with your family doctor for follow-up exams during your recovery.
A patient may need to pay for eye drops. A current prescription plan may help cover costs associated with eye drops and you would need to check with your payer or pharmacy benefits for coverage details.
[/su_spoiler] [su_spoiler title=”Will insurance cover the cost?” open=”no” style=”default” icon=”plus” anchor=”” anchor_in_url=”no” class=””]Most insurance companies do not cover Laser Vision Correction. NWES does not bill insurance plans for coverage as Laser Vision Correction is an out of pocket expense. Please check with your employer or healthcare insurance for details. You can also contact our insurance specialists to further assist you at 800.826.4631.

Monthly payment plans are available through CareCredit. NWES offers 0% financing up to 24 months. You can apply at Carecredit.com or call 866.893.7864 before you decide to have the procedure. Include Northwest Eye Surgeons as the business name.

Healthcare and Flexible Spending Accounts (HSA and FSA) can be used to pay for our services. If your employer offers a Healthcare or Flex Spending Account (HSA and FSA) that allows you to set aside pre-tax dollars each month from your paycheck to pay for medical expenses not covered by insurance, this is a good time to use it.
