Given these circumstances, I had MANY questions and concerns before surgery was performed on my “good” eye. Surgery day was no big deal, and Dr. Talley-Rostov does an excellent job of talking the patient through the process as it’s happening. Since I could only get one eye fixed, it really is nice that I don’t have to ever wonder about how my LASIK flap healed (although issues even with LASIK are rare), nor do I have to go through the longer PRK recovery process. SMILE really is the next step for laser eye surgery, and I’m VERY glad I waited for it. 2 weeks post-operation, and Id go to NW Eye Surgeons and Dr. Talley-Rostov and do it all over again!
