Payment Options
At Northwest Eye Surgeons, we strive to provide premium care that includes the most advanced technology and personalized attention. We constantly update our equipment and educate our staff on the newest breakthroughs in medical treatment. In order to maintain this high standard, we do not take shortcuts that allow us to discount our prices.
We want our services to be available to anyone who wants them. Therefore, we accept the following forms of payment:
Cash, personal check, or credit card
Payment in full is due on the day of surgery.
Flex plan, cafeteria plan, or health care spending account
Many employers allow you to save pre-tax dollars for care that is not covered by insurance plans. We encourage you to take advantage of this plan if it is available to you because it significantly reduces your actual cost for the procedure.
To take advantage of this type of plan, we will provide you a receipt for your payment by cash, check, or credit card on the day of surgery. When you submit the receipt to your employer’s plan, you will be reimbursed up to the amount saved in your plan.
Insurance coverage
Some insurance companies offer coverage for refractive surgical procedures. Please check with your insurer for coverage. If your plan offers a refractive surgery benefit, we will help you submit your claim.
No initial payment
We work with Care Credit financial corporation to offer 3, 6 or 12 month interest-free payment periods. If you choose to extend your payment period beyond the initial 12 months, significant interest fees will apply.
